Party Eyes

Good morning, beauties!
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and are enjoying your Sunday Funday - whether that be indulging in mimosas over brunch, {my personal fave} off on an adventure, or lounging around the house getting ready for another full week ahead! This morning is rainy and I'm enjoying a few cups of coffee on the couch with my little family. Last night we went out to celebrate a few Birthdays and I was so pleased with how my random makeup look turned out, I took a few extra minutes to grab a few pictures! Currently I'm using the Canon Rebel T31 with a broken lens. Long story short... it's a bit of a B to capture good makeup shots so when they turn out as well as they did from last night - I just have to share!

to have coffee with a friend
to learn a new craft
to write a letter
to bake a surprise cake
to go somewhere special
to REALLY be with the person you love
or even to do nothing for a while...

I'm bringing ---- back

Sometimes one of the best things about always buying and trying new products is going back to the old ones. As not only a makeup artist but a complete beauty product junkie, I am always anxious to buy and try out new product. I forget how much I love and appreciate certain items and without thinking, I just lock them away and rarely give them any attention.

This past week, however, as I am coming into the beautiful insanity that is WEDDING SEASON, I started deep cleaning all my products and beauty room. During this process, I discovered some of my old favourite products and I have fallen in love all over again! I thought I would share with you guys some of my all time favourites that I have brought back into my daily makeup routine, just in case you had forgotten about them too!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer - $36.00 online at Sephora
The most beautiful matte bronzing powder. Perfect shade for subtle contouring on us pale skinned ladies!

Benefit Rockateur Blush - $36.00 online at Sephora
Who doesn't love rose gold? I don't know a single person. This blush is ROSE GOLD. How could I leave this beauty behind? PERFECTION

L'Oreal True Match Foundation -  $13.98 at Walmart
This foundation was my favourite for years and somewhere along the way I got so wrapped up in my Revlon Nearly Naked and left this other affordable beauty behind. I have DRY and I mean DRYYYYY skin and sometimes I get so frustrated in foundations. When I started using this love again a few days ago I was so pleased with how easy is applied and how flawless the finish was. I'm literally obsessed all over again and I recommend anyone with dry skin to go buy this ....you're welcome

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer for Dark Circles - $10.96 at Walmart
I love concealer. I'm a concealing and highlighting freak. Also, do I not only have dry skin I have really bad dark circles. Don't you wish you had my skin? The struggle is real, my friends. This concealer glides on smooth, blends like a dream and keeps my dark circles concealed all day

L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner - $11.46 at Walmart
Super creamy for a pencil liner. If you want a dreamy smokey eye... pop this in your water line and smudge it out

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Primrose - $5.97 at Walmart
I mean... anytime people preach a good dupe of a more expensive lipstick I'm pretty eager to try it. My favourite lipstick of all time is Mac's Angel. This lipstick was an apparent dupe for Angel and/or Snob {which I also own, but love much less} I have always loved this lipstick but I "lost" it in one of my bags and recently rediscovered it. It's a light blue toned pink that wears really well for almost 5 hours. Although this is not exact dupe to the more pricey Mac lip colours, it's just as beautiful!
