At Home Pamper Routine

If you were to ask yourself how often you relax and take time for yourself, what would you say? I feel so frequently there aren't enough hours in a day. We get exhausted, we get bogged down. I find when I'm feeling that way it's incredibly important to create a spare hour to treat yourself to a little "you" time. My absolute favourite way to relax and wind down is with a face mask, a hot bath full of bubbles and yummy bath salts, acoustic covers on Spotify and either a hot cup of tea or a glass of red wine, depending on the day and time of course!

My Pamper Routine:

a) I like to get my bath started right away so that while the tub is filling I apply my face mask. I start with filling the tub with water and then I load it up with bubbles! Currently I'm using (and almost out of) the Thymes Essential Aloa Vera Bubble Bath in French Lavender - this stuff smells UNREAL. Then I add the bath salts. I use the Ginseng and Indian Rose Vitality Bath Salts by Bath Retreat Spa. Not only does this smell ahhh-mazing but it leaves my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.

b) With the tub filling, and my skin freshly cleansed, I'm ready for a face mask! I've been trying a few newbies lately and fell in love with the L'Oreal Pure-Clay Mask (I like the Detox & Brighten Treatment) This mask addresses your dull, tired skin to reveal a purified, even and radiant complexion, leaving your skin with a healthy brighter glow. It also detoxified the skin and cleanses the pores, getting rid of dirt, dust and pollution. Leave on for 15 minutes.

c) Time to scrub! Bath Retreat Spa also makes the yummiest Sugar Scrub (same scent as the bath salts) The scent is equally amazing (to sum it up it smells like a real SPA) and the scrub is nice and gentle on the skin but gets rid of all the yucky dead stuff. It's enriched with ginseng and Indian rose extracts, and vitamins A and E.

d)
 Soak.
   Relax. Refresh.
Reconnect.
Do not over think life (this is the important one)

e) Time to moisturize!! Once I'm all towelled off and curled up in my cozies, I start with skin care. I start with the First Aid Facial Radiance Pads to tone and brighten. Followed by their Ultra Repair Cream for Dry Parched Skin. In the evenings I like to really lather this stuff on and leave to soak in over night to keep my skin nice and hydrated. I've been loving using the Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil around my eyes to add moisture. When you have dry skin like me, all steps are really about adding hydration to the skin.

f) Now that the colder weather is here, my lips are following in my skins footsteps and getting incredibly dry. To get of any dryness and flaking on the lips I use a lip scrub. Been loving the Hanalei Sugar Scrub that I got in one of my old Ipsy Glam bags lately as it smells like HEAVEN. Once my lips are scrubbed and looking fresh, I top it off with a lip balm.

g) Repeat step D.
